Biography

Coach Silvester is the Girls Program Director and Varsity Girls Coach with C.B.A. (Character, Basketball, & Academics) travel ball organization. Coach Silvester is a New York City native, his experiences playing as a youth through high school and College Basketball in New York have helped him to be effective Coach.

Coach Silvester began his coaching career while serving in the United States Army, teaching each student/athlete to Aim High by Empowering them 2 Grow. He has coached various travel basketball teams and worked with a variety of different cultures over 20 years.

 

Coach Silvester ambitious, determination, and experience helped him to serve as an Assistant Junior Varsity & Assistant Varsity coach at various High Schools programs while in the military and after his retirement from the military. He was responsible for game preparation, player development, and strength and conditioning.

He actively stands on teaching basketball skills and development of a players Basketball IQ. Coach Silvester has a heart for helping all players: beginners, intermediate and advanced players who strive to improve their basketball skills. He enjoys working with players, parents and coaches.

 

He has a strong belief in family, community involvement, and accountability. Faith in God, love for his wife, and four children are everything to Coach Silvester. He knows he would not be where he is today without God and his family.
